As a family, we’re making a conscious effort to use our car less and get outside more. This was partially kickstarted by Covid restrictions in Wales, as the arrival of our twins meant we found ourselves as a new family of four and unable to travel anywhere.
We bought a RadWagon 4 to get around Cardiff with the twins easily, with zero emissions. The bike has allowed us to take short and long trips really easily. We’ve gone from Llandaff to the Bay and back to Radyr on less than 1/4 of a charge.
The overall build of the bike is great. The riding position is super easy to adjust and the maneuverability is really impressive. As Cardiff is so flat, I rarely take it past pedal assist level 2 (out of 5) so the battery life is really long.
Getting both babies on the back and being able to cycle long distance is the main selling point for me. When the twins get bigger, the seats come off and are replaced with a seat pad instead. They are compatible with a load of RadWagon accessories, so there’s a lot more I can add to the bike. Definitely a lifetime investment.
