We teamed up with local food PR consultant Jane Cook to design and launch an entirely new wine passport initiative for Cardiff. The aim of Cardiff Wine Passport was to encourage Cardiff residents to try new bars, restaurants and wines throughout the city centre. We designed a brand and accompanying physical printed passport booklets for the scheme.
Quality wine can often be seen as something that exclusive and expensive so we designed a logo that’s fun, accessible and flexible. The brand needed longevity so it could be used year upon year without needing a redesign.
The 16 page passport booklet was a key part of the launch of the scheme. We wanted users to feel like they were really interacting with the brand. Each bar had it’s own rubber stamp so users could collect their wine stamps as they tried new venues and wines.
